My name is Reid Kimura and I'm a junior. I'm a baseball player but I love sports in general. Truthfully, I heard good things about this class including reasons why I should take the class from my brother Reyn '09. I didn't really come into the class with expectations of what I wanted to take from this class besides just getting to learn about the other gender in literature. Gladly, I got more than I expected and I really enjoyed some of the books and topics we discussed in this class. I think just being able to understand and gain a different perspective was really beneficial. I remember the first discussion we had, I was pretty intimidated, partially because there were so many girls in the class and so little guys. I typically have a really masculine view of things and I guess throughout this class, I've not changed how I feel, but I have gotten a better understand from the opposite perspective. This class requires a good amount of maturity because some of the topics you discuss can be really intense.
